Acceptable Use Policy
Updated October 23, 2026. Version 2026-10-23.2. CostumeFlip makes short AI-generated trend videos from photos of consenting adults or your own pet. These rules apply to every photo and every generated video.
Who may appear in a video
Upload only a photo of yourself, an adult (18+) who has agreed to appear in this video, or your own pet. Photos of public figures, celebrities, politicians and anyone under 18 are not allowed. Do not use photos taken without the person’s knowledge.
Prohibited content
The following are prohibited in photos and outputs: (1) pornography, nudity or sexual (NSFW) content; (2) graphic violence or gore; (3) hate speech or extremist content; (4) child-unsafe content, including any sexualisation of minors (CSAM); (5) deepfakes or impersonation of a real person: face swaps, undressing, placing real people in intimate scenes, or presenting someone as having said or done something real that they did not, for example to deceive, defame or fake an endorsement; (6) copyright or trademark infringement, including official emblems, logos, branded merchandise and recordings you do not own. Harassment and encouragement of self-harm are also prohibited.
AI-generated content
Every video made here is AI-generated, and this site labels it as such. The service only changes the outfit and scene around the person or pet from your own photo; it has no face-swap, undressing, intimate-scene or speech-synthesis features. Keep the platform’s AI label on when you post.
Safety review
Every video passes three checks we run ourselves. Before rendering, the scene prompt is checked against our blocklist (covering the six categories above plus character, brand and public-figure names, reviewed at least every 30 days; rendering pauses if a review is overdue) and by Waffo’s prompt screening; anything other than a clear pass is declined before credits are used. Every uploaded photo, including pet photos, is checked by SeeAPI image moderation, and photos of people also go through APIMart’s portrait review. Every finished video is checked by SeeAPI video moderation before you can see or download it. A result that fails a check is not delivered and its credits are returned; a check that cannot complete is held for manual review rather than delivered. We keep the check IDs and outcomes with each job as our moderation record. Automated checks can miss content; reports are reviewed by the operator.
Reporting channel
Anyone can report a video, an unauthorized use of their likeness, a copyright concern or another safety issue, or appeal a decision, by emailing hello@costumeflip.com. You do not need an account. Include the relevant page or video reference, a description and a reply email. Do not email illegal imagery, passwords or card details.
Report handling and response timelines
We acknowledge reports within 2 business days and complete an initial review within 7 business days. If a complex case needs more time we send a progress update within those 7 business days. Business days are Monday to Friday in China Standard Time (UTC+8), excluding public holidays in China.
Enforcement
We may block requests, remove or restrict access to content, suspend accounts or guest sessions and adjust credits under our Terms and Refund Policy. Mandatory refund rights remain unaffected.
